Fire crews attended the fire at Bright Blue Foods (Yorkshire Cottage Bakery) at around 3pm today. The bakery on Menstone Street off City Road in Bradford had been evacuated when crews arrived at the scene. The incident involved a large industrial oven inside the premises.
Fire crews used a Foam branch, extinguishers and 8 Breathing apparatus to deal with the incident. The fire was quickly extinguished. Crews from Fairweather Green, Bradford, Odsal, Shipley and the Foam making unit from Hunslet along with a support pump from Hunslet and Stanningley. attended.
