Fire Crews rescue female from empty Nightclub fire in Quebec Street, Bradford

Around 5.45pm this evening (27/04/2016) Fire crews were called to a fire at the rear of the Mode nightclub on Quebec Street in Bradford. They found an outbuilding attached to the property well alight and and rescued a female from the property.

The female was given oxygen therapy by fire crews before the paramedic crews arrived on scene. Due to the difficult access firefighters used a ladder to reach the affected structure. It is thought that the female did not require hospital treatment after being checked over by paramedics at the scene

Firefighters used 1 Hosereel jet and 2 Breathing apparatus sets to tackle the fire.  Three appliances, Bradford (2) and Odsal (1) attended along with a total of 5 ambulance vehicles and crews.
