Road Closed as occupants flee after crash on Rooley Avenue, Bradford

At around 5pm. this afternoon (18/07/2015) there was a collision involving two cars, one car ending up crashed through a wall. The two male occupants from the damaged Audi made off on foot and there injuries, if any, are not known.

Odsal fire crews were called to make this vehicle safe. Rooley Avenue has since reopened after Traffic Collision Investigators completed their initial assessment of the scene . The full circumstances are not apparent at this stage, but local residents describe a fight and then 2 males running off towards the Mayo Avenue area. 

The crashed car came to rest after demolishing 2 walls which are at the entrance to a well used footpath leading from Rooley Avenue towards Rooley Crescent.

The West Yorkshire Police helicopter flew over the area to try an locate the males who had left the scene. The NPAS Carrgate twitter account blogged 1730hrs Bradford, concern call following RTC. Area searched, no trace of any injured parties.

It is thought that the other vehicle described as a black BMW had fled the scene prior to Police arrival towards Odsal. Police investigations are continuing into the incident which kept part of Bradford's ring road closed for 4 Hours.
