Road Traffic Collision Manchester Road, Bradford


Two cars were involved in the collision on Manchester Road at its junction with Mayo Avenue and Smiddles Lane. One of the cars a Range Rover was left overturned as a result of the crash.

The collison outside The Craven Heifer caused major traffic problems as police closed the full junction allowing Fire crews and Paramedics to deal with the scene.

Two casualties in the VW Golf were released by firefighters and ambulance crews. The casualties were released due to injuries rather than physical  entrapment

Crews from Odsal and Cleckheaton were alerted at around 8:20pm (11/10/13) and responded with 2 pumping appliances and the Technical Rescue Unit..

The full extent of casualties injuries are not known at this time. Manchester road has since been re-opened and traffic is back to normal.
