Damping down continues after Bradford Mill Blaze

Fire crews are still in attendance today (Tuesday) damping down with a section of Mill lane closed to traffic as operations continue. One appliance from Bradford station remained today using a ground monitor jet.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire on Saturday Morning (23rd August) but as yet no cause has been fully established.

The upper three floors of the building were disused but the ground floor contained two businesses, Realize Concept Interior Ltd and H20 Auto Tint and Valet Center. Most of the roof collapsed in the blaze.

The roof of the building has collapsed and one end of the buildings wall is to be checked by Building Inspectors to check the structural stability of the mill.
