Firefighters release Two men after Car and Bus collide in Bradford

Fire crews from Odsal, Bradford and the Technical Rescue Unit from Cleckheaton responded to the incident around 10pm on Friday night (14th November). This was a road traffic collision where a Volkswagen Golf had crashed into the rear of a stationary First bus outside Low Moor Surgery on Huddersfield road.

The car driver and front seat passenger were both injured and trapped in the front of the car. The Fire Service had to remove the top of the Golf in order to extricate the 2 males.
There were passengers getting onto the bus when the collision occurred but none of the 15 passengers nor the driver were seriously injured.

When the men were released they were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary by ambulance. The road was closed for a short time whilst fire crews made the scene safe and Police conducted investigations.
