Fire Crews were called at around 3:45 hrs this afternoon to the derelict building on Copgrove Road, Holme Wood, Bradford. A section of the roof had been involved and crews had entered the property in Breathing apparatus and used a jet to contain the fire. An aerial appliance was also requested to tackle the roof fire and assist in the damping down operation from outside the property. Three pumping appliances and the Aerial appliance from Leeds were used. There wasn't much to see but a few bystanders stopped to watch the fire crews at work. Local buses were diverted whilst the incident was dealt with.
Appliances from Bradford, Odsal, Stanningley and the Leeds ALP attended the incident.
