Light aircraft Crash landing at Farnley Leeds

Calls were received to the emergency services at around 19:50 hours yesterday (25/05). A Piper Cherokee Warrior II fixed wing aircraft came
down near Hall Lane, just outside the grounds of Farnley Hall. Four people in the small plane had a lucky escape when the pilot
successfully crash-landed in a farmers field. During the landing the aircraft struck some fence post in its path.

Fire crews from Bradford, Stanningley, Leeds and Cleckheaton, together with ambulances and police, rushed to the scene on open land at Farnley Hall Farm.
None of the four people on board the aircraft were injured Miraculously, with only minor damage to the aircraft also.
Flight accident investigators and police are now investigating the cause of the Incident.
