Couple of Incidents from Last Week M62 westbound ,RTC and Bowling Park Funfair Ride, Bradford

Emergency services at the Scene
A  car crashed into a motorway crash barrier before rolling onto its roof 
and back onto its wheels. 

Firefighters from Batley and Cleckheaton were called to the scene of the crash on the M62 Westbound between junction 27 and 26 at 7.10pm on Tuesday 23rd June 2015.

The male driver, who is in his early 30s, was freed by firefighters. The roof of the car had to be removed and the casualty then removed on a spinal board and put into an awaiting ambulance, before being taken to 
hospital. He was conscious and breathing at the scene throughout the operation. One lane of the Westbound carriageway was closed whilst the operation to free the driver was undertaken.

On Friday 26th June at around 20:55 fire crews attended an incident involving a ride at the Bowling Park Funfair just off Bowling Park Drive in West Bowling, Bradford. 

This is a travelling funfair and not a permanent site. It had been reported that some people were trapped on the ride, but they had been released by the time fire crews arrived. There was a large Police presence at the scene also. The full details of what actually occurred are not apparent at this time.
