Farm Fire at Tingley

Fire crews damping down at the scene

Fire crews were called to the scene at Topcliffe Farm off Dewsbury road, Tingley at 14:24 today (15/03/14). When crews arrived they found a Light Goods Vehicle and tyres on fire. Due to the area of the fire assistance was requested making this incident a MP x 5 and Hose Layer. Crews used the nearest hydrant and appliances shuttled water to the fireground. A total of three large jets and four Breathing apparatus were used.

Appliances attended from Hunslet, Rothwell, Morley and Ossett and the Hose laying unit from Stanningley
