Fire at old Seabrook Crisps Factory in Bradford

The scene on Allerton Road tonight

Bradford District fire crews attended the old Seabrook Crisp factory on Allerton Road tonight 06/01/2014). The fire in the now derelict factory premise affected 50% of the first floor.

Crews outside the derelict mill

Crews from Fairweather Green, Bradford, Shipley and Odsal attended just before 8:30pm and used 2 Large jets, 6 Breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation fans to put out the fire.

Local resident stated that there had been previous fires at the location.

Police closed the road to assist with traffic management and securing the scene.
