House Fire in Buttershaw Lane, Bradford

Buttershaw Lane closed for Bradford CARP to operate

This was a house fire involving semi detached houses on Buttershaw Lane, Bradford just off Halifax road. Calls were received at around 08:00 am on Wednesday 22/01/14 and appliances from Odsal, Bradford, Cleckheaton and Fairweather Green attended.

Crews used 1 Large jet, 2 Hosereel jets, 4 Breathing apparatus sets and Positive Pressure ventilation to tackle the incident. Crews had to enter both properties to check and deal with the loft spaces.

Bradfords CARP appliance was used to remove some of the roof tiles and fire investigation officers also attended to establish the cause of the blaze.
Buttershaw lane was closed to traffic throughout the operation with diversions in place.
