Fire crews were called just after 9:25pm yesterday as smoke was seen billowing from a yard on Sticker Lane in Bradford. This was near to a building and four appliances were sent to the scene, 2 from Bradford, 1 from Idle and 1 from Odsal. Crews investigated and found that 2 Light Goods vehicles were 100% alight within the complex but outside the building.
Crews used 2 Large jets and 4 Breathing apparatus sets and quickly controlled the incident, with smoke visible accross the city. There were slight delays on Sticker Lane as hose lines were taken across the roadway, no closure was required and hose ramps used to keep traffic flowing past the scene.
