Fire crews are dealing with a large blaze at a waste recycling centre in Leeds. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said it started in a building at HW Martin Waste in Parkside Lane, Beeston at about 01:30 BST.Twelve pumps and two Aerial platforms were sent to the site near the M621.There are no reports of any injuries, but West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said it could take several days to extinguish.Vince Macklam, from the fire service, said the majority of the blaze had been brought under control."The building contains a lot of bales of recycling material, papers and plastics and the fire had got a good hold of them inside. Crews are now involved in dampening down on the site.
